It's not like he went all Lesnar or anything...

I say cut him some slack.E. Strikeforce needs a serious tune up if they want to be taken seriously.
"Yeah, he's just chillin' on the fence!"

Announcers not be able to score rounds, ridiculous and all around useless commentary, as well as old school WWF introductions?
Enough said.

2.)Fedor should be fighting in the UFC.

A fighter of that caliber should not restrict himself to Strikeforce. He could give Lesnar (Or Carwin, who knows...) a run for their money and earn the biggest payday of his life for the event. Sure, Brett Rogers was good and put on a good show, but I don't think he's ready to be champ yet. He needs time and more expierience before that happens. Still, Fedor needs to make the switch. A good entry level fight would be against Big Nog or Junior Dos Santos before heading up and testing the upper echelons.

3.) What not to do in Ju-Jitsu.

After the second round, Miller gave up his back at least twice a round, yet Shields did not even come close with a submission. The closest the fight came to ending was when Miller pulled the rear naked out, only far too late in the round and ground game.

I would have booed too, I found myself channel surfing during the fight after Shields did nothing again and again after gaining mount, Miller's back with full hooks, and other fight-ending positions.

4.) Sokoudjou is done.

"The African Assasin" was beaten for the last time on a main card I fear. Any wins/ losses will be in Dream or somewhere over the rainbow and in the prelims.

5.) Strikeforce dropped the ball.

Having one of the biggest fighters in the world in your ring does not happen every other weekend. If Fedor wants to stay with an organization that sloppy in their presentation and showmanship, it's a serious career hindering move. Forget Brock Lesnar being afraid, why isn't he moving on? Could he actually be afraid of competing at the very top?

Also, what was up with Brett after the fight? Can you say poor sportsmanship?

Instead of talking about a rematch right after the fight is over, give credit where credit is due and due and take your thumps. If all you can say is you want a rematch, get in line with the other twenty-five or so guys that are groaning about it.Jesushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15734495811532194748noreply@blogger.com
